Personal Review

What an amazing movie! I loved it every second of it and I am so disappointed to have read so many bad reviews on this film. Absolutely tremendous performance from “Taylor lautner” in his introduction into the world of action in this intense adventure. Not a dull moment, even my apprehensive boyfriend, who doesn’t like the fact I think Taylor is (Hot! Hot! Hot!) really enjoyed this movie. The flow and structure of the movie is executed beautifully. As new details emerge at different points throughout the film and create twists along the way, This film is in No Way boring! And the relationship between him and his mysterious father grips you to the core and has you rooting for the father to be there for Nathan when he needs him most! Excellent movie please do not be put off with other peoples bad reviews about this film . You will not be disappointed!

Shutter island is an intense physiological thriller based on Dennis Lehane`s 2003 novel. “DiCaprio” and “Scorsese” team up together for the fourth time in this chilling tale. This triggers a long line of enquiries and unanswered questions from the clueless staff and disturbed inmates. Will they ever discover the truth in this web of confusion and conspiracy ? Did Rachel Solando even exist ? Where the Doctors actually the ones making the patients ill…?

Personal Review
This gripping yet extremely confusing physiological thriller had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through , my mind was racing constantly trying to solve the puzzles and work out what would happen next. I went into this film with very high expectations and I was certainly not disappointed especially with the ingenious double twist at the end thrown in by “ Scorsese” hats off to him this is by far his best film of all time in my eyes! This is a head trip well worth taking, it makes you think outside the box and opens your mind to a multitude of possibilities. Absolutely outstanding performances from “Dicaprio” and “Ruffalo” in this stunning movie.
That’s all I will say as I really do not want to give anything away but if you haven’t seen this movie yet ..Go see it now!!

Now free and on a one man mission to avenge the murder of his brother that happened during the botched bank robbery that led to his imprisonment .He makes his deadly to do list and the journey begins. Unaware that he has two men on his tail a corrupt cop (Billy Bob Thornton) just days from retirement and slick James Bond type Hit-man with a passion for killing and a newfound worthy opponent. The Hunter is now the hunted in this fast paced action filled movie. Its a race to the list’s finish as new details emerge surrounding his brothers death and Driver realises his list may be incomplete.

Personal Review
This film is absolutely fantastic! It has a brilliant story that captures your attention straight away and has you rooting for Driver (Dwayne Johnson). The story of two brothers that just got themselves into a tricky situation that all ended in disaster. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, it exceeded all my expectations. Dwayne (The Rock) gives a fantastic action packed performance and although he doesn’t have a lot to say one look from him says it all. Oliver Jackson-Cohen (killer) plays a stunning role as the nameless hit-man ,with his class and charisma combined with his sheer thrill for the kill he is yet to miss a hit. I recommend this film to anyone who loves a fast paced action flick, with a strong story and a few clever twists along the way!

My personal Review

I watched this film with my little sister the other night and I must say the first half was bloody fantastic, I was on the edge of my seat gripping my knees in suspense and my little sister was covering her face in pure fear and then the second half all got a little bit silly as if unable to live up to the extremely high standards of the first. It all starts with a family moving into a new home and at first everything seems fine . After a couple of days the eldest boy Dalton “Ty Simpkins” decides to take a wonder up to the spooky attic and has a simple fall while trying to turn a light on. His parents Josh “Patrick Wilson” and , Renai “Rose Byrne” rush to his screams but it seems he just got a bit of a fright and wasn’t seriously injured until his father tries to waken him the next morning to discover Dalton had slipped into a coma. Surely the fall he had in the attic couldn’t have caused this, so what could it be ? His parents have no idea as they struggle to find the root of his illness and the doctors are clueless as to what could have caused this as there are no signs of brain damage. After a few months and a series of tests the doctors allow Dalton to go home for his family to care for him whilst inexplicably he is still in a coma. Shortly after Dalton comes home the truly terrifying moments unravel and this creepy rollercoaster of jumps and thrills begins. Overall I think this film has elements of pure genius and if it wasn’t for the shaky second half and the some of the unappealing visuals it would have been one of if not the BEST horror movie ever made!!

Mr Poppers Penguins

Mr Poppers Penguins"In this live-action adaptation of Richard and Florence Atwater's classic children's book, Jim Carrey takes on the titular role of Mr. Popper, a businessman who inherits a small flock of penguins and must transform his Manhattan apartment into an arctic habitat

My personal review
...

This is such a great movie for all the family. Jim Carrey doesn’t disappoint in this hilariously cute tale. I found myself in fits of laughter at the adorable little penguins. Watching “Carrey” cleaning up the mess they make and trying to get rid of them, Until he realises how incredibly fond of them he really is ..Awww. Overall a light hearted family movie that will give you a few giggles and certainly keep the kiddies entertained .

My personal review

I absolutely loved everything about this extraordinary movie, It all starts when a pickup truck derails a speeding train in a small town in Ohio, with a group of six kids who were filming a movie at the time caught it on camera. Shortly after this mysterious train crash the locals and all the dogs start to disappear , suspicions arise that the incident was anything but an accident and as the truth begins to emerge , no one is prepared for what they are about to learn. A truly breathtaking movie that is a must see for all ages! The talented young actors and actresses are definitely on their way to stardom and it shows . The visual effects are simply astounding with huge explosion filled action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This film left me extremely satisfied and inspired. Abram and Spielberg are a match made in heaven. What a fantastic film!!
